The Bulgarian Atomic Forum (BULATOM), a member of the European Atomic Forum (FORATOM) is the largest NGO dealing with matters in the field of nuclear energy in Bulgaria. 


Established in June 2001, currently its more than 50 members include private engineering, construction, manufacturing and supply companies, state-owned companies and organizations related to nuclear energy, educational institutions, NGOs, as well as individual experts in the field of nuclear energy.  


Its core purposes are to present the public with an objective opinion on matters related to nuclear energy, to protect the nuclear industry’s interests both locally and within the EU, as well as to coordinate its members efforts in pursuit of their common goals.
